College Publisher Test Site

The Utica College Student Senate met for its regular session last Wednesday afternoon, recognized a new campus organization, and approved three funding requests. The Senate also introduced its executive board for the 2008-2009 school year and unveiled its proposed budget for next year.

The fourth annual Moosestock, Utica College's annual rock music festival, will take place this Saturday, and according to coordinator Jay Lehmann, it will see its biggest year ever. Moosestock will be held on the lawn behind Strebel Student Center beginning at 12 p.

The Pioneers were never in it at all on Wednesday afternoon vs. SUNY Oneonta, as the Red Dragons coasted to a commanding 14-1 win at Utica College Baseball Field. UC starting pitcher Joe Hillman could never really get settled into the game as he gave up two of the six earned runs he gave up in the second inning.

The Utica College Baseball team never had a chance against conference rival and visiting opponent St. John Fisher on Sunday, giving up 8 runs in the third inning and going on to lose 16-1 in a weekend sweep. The Pioneers could not find a way to score runs against spectacular Cardinal pitching and have yet to pick up an Empire 8 Conference win.
